National Philanthropy - Children's Miracle Network:

Phi Mu's national philanthropy is Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. The Delta Alpha chapter of Phi Mu strives each year to raise thousands of dollars for its Children's Miracle Network hospital, Riley's Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.

DePHI the MUsic

Our annual event takes place during the spring semester at BuffaLouie's and invites students to sing karaoke and eat unlimited chicken wings for the cost of admission. This past spring, DePHI the MUsic raised $11,000 for Children's Miracle Network!

Runway Riley

Our newest philanthropy is Runway Riley: Catwalk for the Kids, an event created in 2012. The paired philanthropy with Phi Mu and IUDM is a fashion show that showcases the IUDM apparel offered for the year. Riley kids are given the opportunity to strut their stuff with IU students and model off the apparel in the show. All proceeds go toward the IU Dance Marathon total, which directly benefits Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis! This past year, an incredible $18,000 was raised!

Relay for Life

Phi Mu also prides itself on its involvement in Relay For Life, an American Cancer Society event that raises money for cancer research and raises awareness in the Bloomington community. Phi Mu is not only the largest organization to participate, but we are also a top fundraiser.
